I love roses. They look stunning and they smell great. And let’s face it, which girl wouldn’t want a lovely bunch of romantic roses on valentine’s day?
You might be surprised to hear that there is far more to these flowers than you might imagine. In this case beauty is more than skin deep!
So after getting a bunch of roses I wanted to do something useful with them rather than simply throwing them away when they start to wilt. After a little research I found that they offer loads of benefits.
Roses have rejuvenating and refreshing effect. They also have healing qualities. They are antibacterial, moisturizing and anti-inflammatory. Furthermore they help with preventing redness or signs of rosacea due to there vasoconstriction capillary action.
Once you hear all this you realise that roses are not just beautiful to look at but also brilliant as an ingredient in a home made mask.
There are loads of cosmetic products on the market that have rose in their composition, due to its extraordinary results in the beauty care area.
Roses have been used since ancient times in for preparing all sorts of potions and cosmetic treatments.
